We spent 3 1/2 months in Italy and a week in Norway this summer. Took over 4,000 photos and 1200 videos as reference for producing art this coming year. What an incredible experience where everywhere you turn history hundreds of years old stare you in the face. Saw the quarry where Michelangelo got the marble to carve his famous "David". Ruth painted a beautiful mural on the exterior wall of our studio in Spring City as one of three more to be painted in the Spring. She is not new to the mural painting as you can see on the blog. She will be offering a workshop in the Spring on mural painting. Go to our web site and let us know if you are interested in taking the class or any of the other workshops offered. We now have an Olson Gallery sign that supports the original clock used in the movie set of Heidi starring Shirley Temple! Our little town is all in the historical district so the sign fits. This summer we are relocating our old, 3 hole, outhouse to the front of the studio and are attaching a 4 foot water wheel to it to create a unique water feature.
